vacation....

Hi all !

I know it has been a while... but like a lot of people, we have had a busy time during the summer holidays...we have had some friends over for 2 weeks. Together with our 3 kids and their 3 kids it was a happy noisy and full house...but we loved it !

Long evenings ( read nights;-) full of talking, laughing and talking about our memories...

We had not seen eachother for such a long time because we moved to Spain a couple of years ago...That means we cannot see eachother often...but we cherish moments like this !!

Also my daughter and son were turning 6 and 8 in august...time flies ....
It only seems like yesterday that i hold them in my arms...I love them so much...

And because time flies i enjoy every minute i have with our little one, i love his little body, bathtime...the first time eating "danoontje", his first laugh and noises, and everything he learns everyday...

But besides all the happy times we also had to put our little doggie to sleep this week...1 day after my sons birthday...

Rocco was their little doggie..which they choose themselves from the animal rescue nearby...a little cocker spaniel...the cutest one we ever saw...

Sooo sweet with super long eye lashes (even i was jealous of him ;-)

Anyway...we have had him for 2 years..and he has been sick a lot... this time it really was a hopeless situation...and this was the only good thing we could do for him at this moment...We miss him very much...happy little Rocco...always wagging his little tail, how sick he was...

The kids are soo sad...especially my little girl...because it was her special friend...

Fortunately we can look forward to something to make them less sad...

We are counting the days..my parents are almost coming over ... for a whole week !!

They saw our little boy 2 weeks after he was born...so they havent seen him for aprox. 4 months now !!

I know for sure they will not believe what they see...he has grown so big since then!

Anyway....as you probably understand i haven't done a lot of crafting the past weeks...but in about 2 weeks school starts again so then life will go back to normal over here.... ( for as normal it can be ;-)

In the meantime some inspirational pictures i found on internet ! I wish i had a little place like this ! Well....i keep dreaming, maybe someday...
