It's been a while....

Hi All !

It's been a while since my last post, because a lot happened...
3 weeks ago i got an accident at home..We had some insecticide for mosquitos on the chimney..and for the first time we had the fire place on....
I just came in the room, saw the insecticide and wanted to take it to the kitchen because heat and insecticide are not a good combination...

But it was allready too late...

When i grabbed it, it was allready very hot because it was standing in front of a little opening with hot air, burned my fingers and threw it away...and right in front of me it exploded in the air...
My head was on fire...so as soon as i could i could i run to the kitchen to put water on my head...
Went to the hospital , an ambulance in Spain outside the city is almost impossible to explain..it is faster to drive yourself...

I had 1st and 2nd degree burns on face, hands, arms and belly...
Everything in bandages...i looked like the mummy... ( only 1 day too late for halloween ;-)
Thank God our 3 kids were just in bed for 5 minutes...and my husband was still with them...otherwise i could have been a whole other story...

All the windows and doors were broken...and i had only this...a real miracle !

Now almost 3 weeks later i am doing a lot better...
All bandages are gone... i do not have to go to the hospital everyday anymore...and at this point i only need to use special creme 3 times a day... No permanent marks...

Everyday a little bit better....
And well....i might look like a "playmobile" doll ( hair ) now ...or like my daughter is saying, a "Pipo the Clown Fringe" ....it will grow back to normal...really ;-))) LOL

Lex & Floor: Thank you for taking care of the kids, and being here so soon when we called, and for taking care of them when we had to go to the hospital. You are the best !

As soon as the bandages from my hands were gone i started on my custom orders...
I finished a painting for a client, 2 sisters as princess :

While i couldn't craft i had lots of time to think and i had some new ideas...

So i made a Wall Hanging - Ornament...not sure how to call it...
It is a painting on canvas, which i make in a Mirror-frame style... You can hang this on the wall with a nice ribbon... ( which i still need to attach...) Something different, a unique way to decorate the nursery/kids room!
I can make them in any size the client wants...very lovely with for example 2 little sisters in it...
Or to complete your little princess's room ;-)

Ofcourse i can make other shapes too...round, oval, a boat-window ( not sure how this is called in english ;-) for boys...lots of possibilities...

And i made some small ornaments from canvas ....which i still need to list in my Etsy Store....

Please remember to put insecticide or other sprays far away from the fireplace and other "hot" areas !!

Busy busy...

Have been very busy lately.. to fill my Etsy store...

I have been listing paintings, dreambeads and just finished a new little cutie.....a little birdie bird..

I am in the mood of making birdies lately...and this one matches with some of the paintings i have allready made...super cute as a gift together ofcourse!

Dreambeads...and more

Just something new i was working on...

I call them "dreambeads" ..... You can hang them above the crib, for the window, on the wall, hanging under a painting...on the door knob etc. Great as gift or just for yourself, the nursery, kidsroom...

This one is in pink ( for my little girl, who just looooooves everything that is pink ;-) ....But i make them in every color and color combinations.

These dreamsbeads are made with: little bells, felt, flowers, beads, pompoms, ribbons etc.

Aren't they cute?
I also made a new painting ...... birdies again....

Something new.....

Just a short message today because it is allready midnight...
Today was a very busy day......but finally when all the kids lay in their beds...i had some time to make a painting. Well...a painting...i also used fabric en ribbons, glitters etc. And since there is a real "birdie-mania" going on....here are some birdies too ;-)

Starting

My first post on my new blog. Wow how exciting!

Here's my first attempt to share my work with all off you ...

I normally spend a lot of my spare time on crafting. I like working with bright colors. Most of the items I make are childrens room decorations. I love painting, beading, and working with fabric etc.

Anyway, inspired by other blogs i read, I decided to create my own blog। And i am also selling my creations...as i do not have a craft room, and way too many creations ;-S
